A good word
for where you are.
Scripture for real life, one good word at a time.
A place to come back to Scripture, remember what is true, and carry a little encouragement into the day in front of you.
There are a lot of words
competing for our attention.
Words telling us who we should be.
What we should accomplish.
What we should fear.
What we are missing.
Where we are behind.
Sometimes, we just need
a good word.
A verse
I needed
myself.
Good Word Daily began in a doctor's office waiting room.
I was sitting there reading my Bible, partly to pass the time and partly because I needed something to steady my mind.
That's when I came across Proverbs 12:25:
Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.
PROVERBS 12:25A good word.
Those words stayed with me.
I knew what it was like to need something true to come back to in the middle of an uncertain day. And I knew I couldn't be the only one.
That's where Good Word Daily began.
A place to
come back to.
My hope is that Good Word Daily becomes a place you can return to again and again.
Nothing complicated.
Just Scripture, thoughtful reflection, and a good word for whatever today holds.
Read the Word.
Remember what is true.
Carry it with you.
Good Word Daily isn't meant to become another complicated routine or another thing to keep up with.
It's an invitation to slow down, return to Scripture, and carry something true with you into the life you're already living.
Read
Begin with Scripture. Before the noise, opinions, and demands of the day, return to what God has said.
Remember
Take hold of one truth worth carrying with you when you need to come back to what is true.
Live
Let the Word move beyond something you read and into the ordinary places of the life you're actually living.
Make a little room
for the Word.
Join Good Word Daily for Scripture, reflection, and encouragement to help you remember what is true and carry it into whatever today holds.
